"Rabbi Allison performed our daughter’s baby naming during the height of the pandemic. Despite the ceremony being virtual, she made it warm and welcoming, allowing family from across the country to attend. She included meaningful readings and gave us space to combine tradition with our own personal touch, including a lullaby my husband wrote for our daughter. When we were pregnant with our second baby, a boy, I felt torn about whether or not to circumcise and Rabbi Allison thoughtfully discussed this with us, listening to my concerns and sharing her perspective in a kind and neutral way, leaving the decision to us.
